Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival – Nairobi

On arrival at the airport, meet our experienced guide. As you are transferred to your designated accommodation, the guide will give you an insight on the wonderful adventures ahead.

Day 2 & 3: Game Drives – Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast, start exploring this beautiful country as you travel to Samburu National Reserve which lies 200 miles north of Nairobi on the hot and arid fringes of the vast northern region of Kenya. Arrive for lunch at the your designated accommodation followed by an afternoon game drive. On the second day, explore the reserve attractions with a morning and afternoon game drive.

Day 5: Game Drives – Lake Nakuru National Park

Continue with your exploration to Lake Nakuru National Park one of the great rift valley lakes and world-renowned for its huge concentration of flamingos. You will be checked in at your designated accommodation. The park offers excellent bird-watching and game viewing, with all the Big Five (tree climbing lions, leopards, elephants, buffalos and rhinos) present, alongside giraffes, cheetahs, leopards, waterbucks, gazelles, baboons, black and white rhinos. 

Day 6 & 7: Game Drives – Maasai Mara National Reserve

After a leisurely breakfast, you will now drive to the extraordinary destination of the Maasai Mara National Reserve and check your designated accommodation. After lunch you will take an afternoon game drive and should be able to see all members of the “Big Five” (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhinoceros), and hyenas, cheetahs, jackals and foxes, antelopes, impalas, duikers, hartebeests. Hippos and crocodiles can be seen in the Mara and Talek Rivers. Take a chance to also view the hundreds of species of birds in the park, many of which are migrants. 

Day 8: Departure – Nairobi

Wake up at sunrise for your last game drive; who knows, you may see some wildlife that you hadn’t seen before. Return to the designated accommodation and collect your bags. Bid farewell to the Maasai Mara as you set on your journey back to Nairobi. You will be transferred to the airport for your international flight.
